Outlander has taken the world by storm, and it's a subject I've been paying close attention to. The reasons why deserve a blog post of their own, but in a nutshell: the spotlight on Scotland; the brilliant storytelling of writer Diana Gabaldon and excellent transformation of this story into a TV show (also showing Scotland off so well); and the amount of tourists Outlander is bringing to Scotland. And I've been covering it all on my YouTube channel in a Outlander Scottish Reaction AND location tour series. So Outlander Season 3 is upon us and, as of 11 September 2017, it's also available to the UK audience on Amazon Prime (FREE trial here). I've tried the various different ways of getting it at the same time as our friends in America, but the bottom line is this: Starz has effectively blocked VPN access. So don't waste your time. Take out an Amazon Prime subscription and let your Droughtlander be over!
How's this for irony? Everything I say about the modern media landscape is that digital media is the only thing that matters. The traditional (print and even TV) is dead. And yet, here I am, happy as Larry to tell you about my very first TV appearance.
