The US gets better and better
The context behind this week's video: Arizona is another level of beauty...
My wife and I edited and posted our latest vlog from Northern Arizona, and were left stunned all over again by how incredibly beautiful the place is.
It was another flying visit - we basically had a whole week to get ourselves from Southern California, through Arizona and to Las Vegas in a huge loop - it was either that or not go at all. The map ALWAYS lies about how long and far these road trips take, in my experience. And that’s not even to mention the exhaustion that goes with it.
It did mean we missed a lot of amazing sites, as a lot of viewers have reminded me. We will have to go back and stay only in Arizona to visit some of them.
On the final day of our stay in Arizona, as you’l see in my vlog, we saw incredible natural beauty at Page, before heading off towards Las Vegas, as we zig-zagged in and out of Utah.
Before finally reaching Nevada, we passed through a canyon that absolutely blew us away with its beauty.

I’d love to see you over there - it’s also the best way to support my work!
Horseshoe bend was really the star of the show in my latest vlog. The videos don’t really do justice to how high and/or deep the place is.
To be honest, I found it shocking, and frankly terrifying, to see so many people climbing the rocks on the cliff edge. I even saw one man - who was driving a Ferrari-looking sports car - standing on his tip toes on an overhanging ledge right on the extreme edge of the cliff. I couldn’t believe it. That’s him pictured above - photo I grabbed on my film camera just as he was inching towards the edge. The slightest breeze could have sent him over!
Anyway, Arizona has left an impression on us. There are many more places we need to see in the state, and perhaps we’ll start further south at Tucson next time.
Speak soon,
Shaun
I'm so glad you enjoyed our beautiful state.
