In 2014, having worked as a journalist in my early 20s, I picked up a video camera and started to film things, taking inspiration from other vloggers I admired.
I filmed my travels, the things I saw and the people I met - posting them on my ‘shaunvlog’ YouTube channel. Then, in 2017, I was invited by the United States Embassy to London, to go on a tour of the USA called ‘Exploring American Values’.
This trip opened my mind, kick starting a personal love affair with the United States which burns bright inside me until today, and serves as an anchor for my content.
Aside from the above, I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, which is my hometown. I’m married to Teka, who is from Brazil, and we often spend time in her amazing home country as well.
Through this Newsletter, I will be sharing my experiences and thoughts that I hope you will find interesting, amusing, and perhaps curious.
